Wet Carpet In Car Drivers Side

This is when i noticed the wet carpet.

Please tell me its not bad news. We do not feel any water around the roof liner or other carpeting just the well where a rear passenger riding on the driver s side would put their feet. It was so bad i took it out to scrub it better. When it rains and it can rain hard i have a dry interior. The carpet was soaked due to water leaking on the floor. The car in question is a mk4 polo.

I have a 2001 pf which is parked slightly uphill on my driveway. The passenger side remains dry. The back is soaked but it s just the back of my driver side. If i park the car flat or downhill then i will have the wet drivers side carpet.

This is due to clogged sunroof drains. It s a old car and i don t want to put to much money into it. Ive recently noticed when i was hoovering the car that the drivers side only is wet. I will try the clean the sunroof drains and door drains to see if that will fix it.

It had a ton of salt buildup and crud all over it. Car is damped in the back of the driver side. My floor is wet i m the front and back mainly on passenger side and it hasn t rained my car is a 2007 lexus gs350. Got home and did my usual cleanup and had to clean the floor mat on the drivers side.

One person told us to check door drain holes. Today we find and fix the water leaking inside my car. 2004 ford mustang the driver s side rear floor is absolutely soaked after a heavy rain.
